Super 8 by Wyndham Hagerstown/Halfway Area

If you’re looking for a solid property where the staff take pride in their work, their customer service, and their property… all at a fair price and delivered consistently… this Super 8 is… SUPER! I have stayed at this property 6+ times over the last two years and it is consistently clean, well maintained, and staffed with friendly and welcoming employees. I always travel with my dog and the property being pet friendly is why I first started staying here. Even as a pet friendly property, you’d never know - the property is always very clean and fresh! There is easy access to take pets outside, and more than enough room to walk dogs and take care of their business. It is a great property, and all the employees are to be commended for their hard work and dedication to their guests!

Great staff, had some work done on my truck and camper and needed a place for a few days. The staff were great, room was comfortable and clean. I was very pleased.

Nicole at front desk was very nice and easy to communicate with , polite and friendly , accommodating for our needs... breakfast is actually pretty good ... lots of variety and not cheapest they can get .. the rates for a night are unbelievable. After 3 weeks of staying in nearby hotels .. this is the one Wyndham title deserved! .. ( warning: don't go to the wrong super 8 ) Everything Is Awesome the parking is awesome well that the breakfast is good the rooms are spacious, they could use a little more Outlets. bring a splitter if you need. It's not a tall building so I get you don't need an elevator. But an elevator is so nice you never noticed how much you miss it until you find a place with no elevator.. the staff is awesome friendly. And my last grievance is the coffee, when the coffee is out, then it's out, that s it .. no more coffee

Right off the highway, easy on-easy off. Accessibility was just what I needed. Front desk / manager Julie Hines was warm and extremely helpful. Friendly and accommodating. I will absolutely return here on my way back home.

So. After a rather frustrating (to say that kindly) experience trying to check into the Red Roof a couple miles south of this hotels exit, after paying for that room in advance and then arrive to find out the clerk wanted a $50.00 cash deposit, which i tried to explain i didn't have and was looking around for an ATM, then to be told I should leave and call priceline fir a refund because he couldn't check me in without cash, which I had doubts about, and still told after several calls later that there will be no refund, I came to this hotel expecting the same for a cash check in without reservation, instead found a very understanding and kind clerk on duty who got us put up pretty quick and explained what my options were. Nice! A clerk who #1 spoke clear English, #2, had no extra fees, #3, gave knowledgeable advice. Beautiful. From now on no priceline or Hindu hotels. I'm not racist. No. I have many many friends. What i can't stand is being manipulated. Especially by someone who clearly didn't care how tired I was. What if instead of checking me in with my already paid reservation he sent me back on the highway and I fell asleep and killed myself or someone else. ??? Hmmm. Definitely calling a lawyer. The only complaints I have is the kids running around and jumping up and down right above me. The TV remote was so worn out that I couldn’t even see any of the buttons the ink was so rubbed off. I am hard of hearing and I couldn’t put on the closed captions and the sound was so bad I couldn’t even hear it when turned up. The tub was so slippery I had to sit down to shower. Otherwise the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I had a pleasant stay.

I had a special time in this motel. Location very quiet and family friendly. The service outstanding, I had 2little kids and the staff at front desk kept the back doors monitored for security purposes. House keeping is the tresor here. They keep your room neat every single day. I was here for 13days not one day I was disappointed. They even went beyond by gathering my kids shoes and toys scattered around to place them together in a more organized way. Just Imagine doing that every day with no complaints and always kind to us. The bathtub was every day ready for a clean bubble bath for the kids. You just have to bring your own bubble soap and toothpaste. Every thing else for toiletries is provided. My husband said to keep the memory of their delicious bacons. Definitely I will recommend the motel.

Great hotel for the price. We got the King suite with hot tub and the price was fitting. Its was spacious and very comfortable. The location can be tricky due to several truck stops near by and high traffic. The front desk was nice and quick. The hallway smelled like Marijuana, but that's how all of Maryland smells now. The breakfast was adequate. There is a McDonald's near by if you need more.
